About Us

Farwell Elementary School is centrally located in the Mead School District north of Spokane, Washington. We serve over 400 students in grades Kindergarten-5th. Our students move on to attend Northwood Middle School and Mead High School. Our motto, "Soaring with Honor" is the foundation of our efforts to meet the needs of a diverse student body. We value our students and cherish their individuality. We strive to encourage and support all students to achieve the state's essential academic learning requirements as they grow and develop as unique individuals and responsible members of the community.

The school learning environment offers Learning Assistance Program, Special Education services, Title 1, and enrichment opportunities.

Our staff is deeply caring, highly skilled and committed to student success. Many of our teachers have specialized training and provide workshop opportunities for area educators.

Our school mascot is "Talon" the Farwell Falcon.
